Several top NW bands; state championship for junior fiddlers; event  is held on the courthouse lawn for three days of music and fun! Vendors; antique car show downtown on the Saturday.

A small county fair, authentic in all respects! Held Wed.—Sun. during second week of Aug. Full rodeo on Sat. night and Sunday afternoon. Exhibits, vendors and no carnival. Come and experience the real Old West!

Every Memorial Day weekend. Several hundred motorcyclists come to Fossil; most camp just north of town. Fairground events.

3rd Sat. in Sept. Community-wide event w/ clues downtown, costumed characters, old-fashioned stew & biscuits dinner and Fossil Players mini-drama depicting who-done-it! Great prizes for solving the mystery—$2 entry fee.  Museum rummage sale, library book sale, etc.  other
